FAIR data self-assessment tool for research datasets

This tool enables researchers to assess how Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (FAIR) their data is. It is an on-line survey for researchers about the FAIRness level of their data.

On submitting their responses, researchers receive a visual summary of their “FAIRness level” by e-mail, showing them how well their data performs under each FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) category, and highlighting any areas that need further work.

Before completing the survey, researchers can watch the FAIR video tutorials  developed by the HEAP team.

While completing the survey, guidance and examples pop up by hovering over the “I” icon for each question.
